On Friday, October 10, the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G is scheduled to go on sale in India. Samsung has released a new teaser showcasing the rear camera unit of its upcoming Galaxy M series smartphone ahead of the official launch. The Galaxy M17 5G will have three rear cameras, the primary of which is a 50-megapixel sensor. It will feature a 6.7-inch display and an IP54-rated build. The company’s Galaxy M16 5G model will be replaced by this new model.

Specifications of Samsung Galaxy M17 5G
The primary camera of the Galaxy M17 5G was showcased in a teaser video that Samsung published on Thursday on X, which was previously Twitter. The phone will have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, as previously stated. According to the manufacturer, this main camera will enable users to record videos blur-free even in shaky conditions.
The Galaxy M17 5G will have a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, according to information that the company has previously provided. Additionally, the handset will have a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats and selfies.

On Amazon and the Samsung India website, the Galaxy M17 5G will be available in Moonlight Silver and Sapphire Black color options. On Friday, the price of the Samsung Galaxy M17 5G will be announced.

Similar to the Galaxy M16 5G, the Galaxy M17 5G will have a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus will safeguard the display. The phone will have a thickness of 7.5 mm. The construction will be IP54-rated to withstand water and dust. Google’s Gemini Live and Circle to Search features will be available on the phone.
The Galaxy M17 5G’s chipset and battery specifications have not yet been made public by Samsung. However, rumors suggest that it might be powered by the Exynos 1330 processor, which is paired with 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM. The device will run on One UI 7 based on Android 15 and is expected to feature a 5,000mAh battery.
