A tipster has shared several key features of the handset, including display size, peak brightness level, chipset and the thickness of each leaf. The phone is expected to be launched next month as the South Korean smartphone maker’s first triple-folding smartphone. The Galaxy Z Tri Fold was first showcased at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) 2025 event, which gave a hint of its design. Samsung Galaxy Z Tri Fold: Possible Specifications
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) has shared some specifications of Samsung’s rumored triple-folding smartphone. The leaker stated that the handset will be marketed as the Samsung Galaxy Z Tri Fold, which matches earlier reports. In addition, the phone is said to have an unidentified Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. It could also come with a 5,437mAh rated battery.

On the back, the Samsung Galaxy Z Tri Fold is said to have a primary camera with 200 megapixels. It could have a 6.5-inch outer display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. On the inside, it could be equipped with a 10-inch screen with a peak brightness of 1,600 nits. Furthermore, one of its leaves could be 3.9mm thick, while the other two could come with a thickness of 4mm and 4.2mm respectively. If this is true, it would be thinner than Samsung’s current flagship foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which has a thickness of 4.2mm when unfolded.
This report comes a day after the South Korean tech giant reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Tri Fold will be launched on December 5th. The handset’s technical specifications and pricing details are expected to be revealed at a dedicated launch event. However, the Galaxy Z Tri Fold already has a number of online features. Contrary to recent leaks, the report states that the phone may feature a 5,600mAh battery, which would be larger than the 4,400mAh battery on the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The foldable smartphone will also support 25W wired fast charging, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and WirelessPowerShare.
