This phone could be slightly less expensive than the Realme 15x 5G, according to reports. Redmi is also getting ready to launch the Note 15 and 15C series.
Realme C85 5G, the company’s new budget 5G device, was recently shown off in Vietnam. It may soon be available in India. The company is preparing to launch its C-series lineup in India at the end of this month, according to new leaks. It is said that the Realme 15x is comparable to the Realme C85 5G. Additionally, the same leak suggests that Redmi will soon introduce its Note 15 series and 15C lineup to India.
Realme C85 5G: India Launch Details
Realme C85 5G, which was unveiled in Vietnam, will launch in India later this month, according to a Twitter post by tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd). This phone will be similar to the Realme 15x 5G, which debuted in India in October and costs 16,999 for the 6-GB+128-GB model.
The camera and charging speed are the main differences. The Realme C85 5G was released in Vietnam with a 45W fast charging support and an 8MP selfie camera. In the meantime, the Realme 15x has a front-facing camera with 50 megapixels and 60W of SuperVOOC fast charging. As a result, India expects the Realme C85 5G to cost slightly less than the Realme 15x.

Redmi 15C, Redmi Note 15 Series India Launch Timeline
The Redmi 15C will also launch in India this month, according to the same post. However, it’s unclear whether the company will offer a 4G or 5G variant, as both are available in global markets. The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor powers the Redmi 15C 5G, while the MediaTek Helio G81-Ultra chipset powers the Redmi 15C 4G.
Additionally, the tipter asserts that Redmi intends to launch the Note 15 series in India before January 2026. This assertion also backs up a previous rumor that the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+, which were released in China in August, will be available in India by mid-January at prices comparable to those of the Redmi Note 14 series.
